This event led to the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a suitcase robbery where a suspected irritant spray caused injuries at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two robbery charges and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, as confirmed by court officials.

These accusations come after an investigation into an assault at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage taken after exiting a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.

A young child was caught up in the incident during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were subsequently released.

This event – which authorities stated was a standalone event and not considered a terror-related act – caused train delays and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a short time.
