Iranian Forces State Strike on American Facility in the Kingdom of Bahrain, During Regional Counterattacks.

Iran's military claims to have hit a American military facility in Manama, as Iran launched strikes across the region in retaliation for a large-scale and continuing attack targeting the nation by the US and Israel.

Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from an zone close to the main base of the American Fifth Fleet in Manama, Bahrain. The scope of any damage is unclear and the American officials has yet to issue a statement.

Airspace Engagements

In other parts of the Middle East, the UAE, the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait - each hosting American military installations - reported they have engaged and destroyed incoming projectiles in their territorial skies.

In the Qatari capital, Qatar's defence ministry said it had successfully engaged several missiles seemingly aimed at the Al Udeid Air Base, the biggest US military installation in the Middle East.

Operation "Truthful Promise 4"

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard declared it was striking American facilities and interests as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in reprisal for the strikes on Iran launched by the US and Israel on Saturday morning.

That preceding assault - executed at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far targeted sites associated with the the regime, with US President Donald Trump calling on the people of Iran to revolt against the regime.

Regional Fallout

In Israel, air raid sirens sounded across the country after the Israeli military reported it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran.

The Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates stated that the nation has been targeted by a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".

"UAE air defence systems dealt with the projectiles with great effectiveness and successfully intercepted a several projectiles," the statement continued.

It said missile fragments landed in a neighborhood in the capital, resulting in some property damage and killing a civilian.

The US Air Force operates from the Al Dhafra base, to the south of Abu Dhabi, along with the Emirati Air Force.
